It has been recommissioned by C4 for 60 episodes, including prime-time versions and five themed programmes. It has been a great success and the shows grabbed more viewers in the 4pm weekday slot than any previous strand. I also designed and built the majority of the graphics as Motion templates.

However, would you believe T Payton has published his own set of commands mapped for FCPX that he says work a lot faster. We scoured the Contour site & forums for an updated map for the keys that would allow the board to be controlled and we could only find an old set that goes back to 10.0.5. We are not great fans of third party surfaces, but David Gibson seems to have a very cool & quick set of commands mapped out on his ShuttlePRO. The other video that caught our eye this morning was the use of a Contour ShuttlePRO to grade on the Color Board in FCPX. Cloned layers, dummy movies, we tried the lot! We spent quite a chunk of time trying a while ago and failed. Motion will not let you retime the A&B inputs in a transition. Secondly, don't bother diving into Motion to try and create a custom morphing transition that can be published to FCPX. Maybe stabilising the shots first using tripod mode might just fix things. First of all your background needs to be still, if the interview was shot handheld then forget about it, it will look very ugly with morphs. A very clever technique and we have to thank T for making and sharing the tutorial.Ī couple of things to note here.
