Turned off Nvidia overlay in the GeForce Experience app and turned on the FPS counter in game. I would go from 300 FPS on high settings to mid twenties.
I have a Ryzen 1700, 16GB RAM 3200 MHz and a 1070 on a 1440p 144 Hz monitor.
